To compare the prefer noes of different animals, Ed and I have decided to look at ants. Why?
Well, first of all, they are a totally different type of animal, if you will. They can't really
think for themselves as this video shows:
So, they might give different results!

We are going about this by coating five milk bottle lids of the colours of the feeders in a 10:3 water to caster sugar solution!
We've already got some results!

29th June

Hello all,
On Wednesday 29th June 2016, The Big Bang Science Fair South West was held at Exeter University. It was a fantastic day out, and great to view other students' projects. To cap off a great day, Ed Thurlow and I (George Rabin) won an award for "Best Communicator." We were also put forward as one of the eight best groups to go to Birmingham in March for the national competitions, and Young Scientist of the Year. We can't wait, and we will look to expand upon this project, with more birds, and maybe different animals. Who knows?
I must thank the judges for giving up their time for this, and for the kind and helpful comments.
